Cosmetic & Medical Tattooing

Why Do People Get Cosmetic/Medical Tattooing?

Semi-permanent make up can deliver stunning results that last.

Cosmetic tattooing treatments include:

  • PMU Eyebrows
  • Lip Blush
  • Eyeliner
  • Lipliner

Medical tattooing can help improve:

  • Hairloss patches & thinning hair
  • Eyebrow & eyelash thinning and loss
  • Scarring & skin grafts
  • Lack of pigment/hypo-pigmentation
  • Nipple/areola re-pigmentation
  • Port wine stains
  • Alopecia

What To Expect From Results

The treatment is safe and is carried out with the highest hygiene standards. A topical anaesthetic cream can be applied to the skin before the procedure to numb the treatment area.

PMU Can Last Anywhere Between 1-5 Years
Even at the higher end of this time frame, you can still expect some visible pigment left.

What Are The Side Effects Of Cosmetic/Medical Tattooing?

Possible risks of permanent make-up are:

  • disappointing results (mistakes can be hard to fix)
  • infection.
  • a skin reaction, such as swelling, cracking, peeling or blistering.
  • granulomas – tiny lumps that form under the skin around the pigment.
  • scarring, or overgrowths of scar tissue.

Who Shouldn't Have Cosmetic/Medical Tattooing?

People with serious diseases such as cancer, epilepsy or autoimmune disorders. People with any bleeding disorders. People who take blood thinning medications. People who've recently had Botox injections or fillers (at least 2 weeks should pass before you get PMU)

It is not suitable for anyone who pregnant or breast feeding.
