What Are Lip Fillers?

Lip fillers are injections that add volume to your lips. They're a type of dermal filler. Lip fillers consist of synthetic hyaluronic acid (HA) — HA is a natural substance in your body. There are many different brands of lip fillers, including  YVOIRE® - TEOSYAL RHA® KISS - TEOSYAL RHA® 1 & 2 - TEOSYAL® PureSense REDENSITY 2

Who Can Have Lip Filler?

To be considered for lip fillers, you should be in good physical health, have realistic expectations, not have an active oral infection, including cold sores.

Why Do People Get Fillers?

What Are The Side Effects Of Lip Filler?

Bruising occurs in a significant number of cases.

Swelling in the injection area will occur. This will laser for 48 hours

Asymmetry: Sometimes one side is better treated than the other, this is usually because the patient is asymmetrical to start with.

Infection is a very rare complication, but always a possibility when the needle goes into the skin.

Necrosis (blood vessel being blocked, interfering with blood supply to the skin) is very rare. This could lead to scarring

Who Shouldn't Have Lip Fillers?

If you have a known allergy to hyaluronic fillers, you must inform Carmen.

Dermal fillers should not be given to pregnant women.
